Indian Healing Clay: Best Deep Pore Cleanser

Indian healing clay is another favorite beauty discovery. Made from 100% Natural Calcium Bentonite Clay. Known for removing impurities and dirt from the pores. Love the pulsating feeling as it cleans. I have used it all over my body when I'm in the mood for a total beauty treatment, but I especially love it as a weekly deep facial cleanser. Also, an amazing treatment for acne, scars, oily skin, and insect bites.

You will need:

Indian Healing Clay

Raw Apple Cider Vinegar with Mother

Non-metal bowl and utensil to mix

Lil' Scrubbies silicone facial cleansing pad

Instructions:

Mix clay with equal parts of raw apple cider vinegar and/or water {ACV is best}. I usually mix 1 tablespoon of clay {1-2 tsps is actually plenty for just your face} with equal parts vinegar when I'm doing my face and neck area.

Use a non-metal bowl and utensil {to avoid ionic reaction with metal}. I used a plastic hair dye bowl from the beauty shop and a facial mask brush for mixing and for applying mask to face.

Stir the mixture well to a smooth paste.

Apply the mask. I use a facial mask brush to work the mask in well for full coverage of the face.

According to the jar, let it dry for 5-10 minutes for delicate skin and 15-20 minutes for normal skin. I usually let mine stay on for 30 minutes without any issues. My skin type is normal. Within 15-20 minutes you can feel the pulsating! Your face will become very stiff and you will barely be able to move it once the clay dries.

Wash off with warm water. I used my lil' silicone facial scrubber with water to remove the clay and it made it much easier and faster to remove all the clay.

Be careful not to allow clumps to go down your drain as you wash off. This type of clay is known to clog drain pipes.

My face always feels super clean and soft to the touch. Slight redness appears when I first wash the mask off but it disappears within a few minutes.

I finish this regimen off with toner and moisturizer and I'm good to go.

NOTE: Slight redness of the skin is normal and will disappear in about 30 min.

This 1 lb. jar of clay makes 10-15 facials. Use it once per week for the family, more often for problem skin. Great for men as well!
