How I Store My Herbs and Spices

"A place for everything and everything in its place."
Here's a glimpse into my kitchen cabinet that I designated just for my growing herb and spice collection. An organizing project I thoroughly enjoyed! I absolutely love the look of labeled glass jars!

These spice jars with the pre-printed labels are a favorite!

When you add labels it gives the jars a more uniform, custom look even if you're using different sizes and styles of jars.

Dates were added to the lids.
Unlike the pre-printed labels I used for the spice jars, I labeled the herbs in the Ball Mason Jars using an embossing label maker featuring white ink on black tape. An old school labeling technique that has become quite trendy again.

For all the spices that I kept in their original containers I organized them into a 3-tier acrylic spice rack for more added space.

I didn't bother to arrange any of the herbs or spices in any specific order because I knew they would not stay that way for long as I am not the only cook in the house. A semi-organized herb and spice cabinet is good enough for me! So many more spaces to organize, especially in the kitchen. Next... maybe the herbal tea drawer! Soon.
