My favorite new cruelty-free beauty product is the Charcoal Konjac Facial Sponge. Konjac is a highly renewable plant source from Asia that has been used for hundreds of years. It is made from the root of the Konjac plant. The sponge acts a natural exfoliator that effectively removes dirt, oil, and blackheads. The charcoal is great for deep cleansing. It is a powerful detoxifier and is known for its ability to absorb and purify impurities.
You must first soak the sponge in a bowl of warm water for a few
minutes and wait for it to soften {do not use dry}. I usually rub a little black soap on the sponge to thoroughly cleanse and exfoliate my face.

Afterwards, my face feels so soft and very clean! Once I finish cleansing, I rinse the sponge clean of any soap and just add water to the sponge to do a final rinse.

Hang the sponge to dry by the attached string.
I have been using mine for about a month now. It seems to be holding up quite well. After 2-3 months of use it is recommended to replace the sponge.
You can recycle the sponge by adding it to the bottom of a potted plant to help distribute proper hydration when watering your plant.
The price varies depending on where you purchase your sponge. I found mine at a Beauty Supply Store for $3.99.
It definitely replaces the need for a face towel everyday! Love it!
